The Mooli Paratha (Thepla) Recipe is a flatbread made from whole wheat flour and grated radish, flavored with cumin, coriander and green chillies. In this recipe of Mooli Paratha (Thepla) Recipe I have added the radish into the dough that makes the cooking process of the paratha easier and you get a delicious tasting thin soft bread.
Thepla’s are a favorite gujarati snack bread. Sit in a long distance train and if you find a Gujarati, you will find theplas. Just as said, its a great travel food, like a baguette is to a French man. You can eat it just about anywhere without any accompaniment, giving you the satisfaction that you have actually had something substantial to eat.

hi….I was always worried about losing valuable nutrients of mooli. …if squeezing to drain it's water…to make thin and crispy parathas …..but now problem solved because of u ❤

Hi..i had made these paratha theplas..&these were yum.No problems at all.i cooked them on medium heat, high seemed bit too high for them.also i id done these for the first time &was quite pleased as to how these turned out. .thanks:-)

This wud make excellent weekend breakfast. Any ideas for quick, non smoothie, non sweet bf's…i mostly stick to poached, hard boiled,sunny side up or if i feel extravagant a veggie omelette…any ideas??

Hi Archana.. I make the mooli paratha by rolling plain dough n stuffing in the mooli with same ingredients (except for turmeric) and folding it into half and then frying it on the skillet, as it is difficult to make it like other stuff parathas. But loved ur easy way. Thank you.
