Moroccan Beef Tagine Recipe with Couscous



Beef Tagine recipe is a traditional Moroccan food. Beef Tagine is slow cooked meet (i am cooking beef) with a blend of sweet and savory flavors.
Today I will show you how to cook Moroccan beef tagine with couscous.
Moroccan food is known for its mix of spices and beautifully textured recipes.
I am cooking my beef tagine recipe using vegetable stock, adding prunes, walnuts, raisins and chickpeas.

Ingredients:
1.5 lb beef
1 onion
3 tomatoes
1.5 cup cilantro
3 cups vegetable stock

Spice rub for meat:
1 tbsp cumin
1 tbsp ras el hanout
1 tbsp ground ginger
1 tbsp sweet paprika
1 tbsp cinnamon
Add salt pepper to taste

Couscous
2.5 cups couscous
4 cups vegetable stock
Salt and pepper to taste
olive oil

  1. Made it this weekend. Divided into seven servings and froze in ziplock sandwich bags. Warmed it up for lunch at work today. The aroma set-off many comments inquiring "What's smelling soooo good!" I led them here to your channel and to World Market for their turquoise colored tagine. I added a huge Russet Potato cubed and a carrot cut on the diagonal…simply divine!
