Murgh Bavandar🐓🍗: Ingredients & Recipe Below:-
– Marinate 1 kg chicken with 1 tbsp each of salt, roasted crushed cumin seeds, red chilli flakes, 1.5 tbsp ginger-garlic paste and 1.5 tbsp vinegar. Let it sit for an hour at least.
– Heat 7 tbsp oil in a pan/kadhai and fry in the chicken on medium flame for 10 minutes turning sides at regular intervals.
– Prepare a paste by blending together 3 boiled skinless potatoes, 4-5 boiled onions, 12 garlic cloves, half tsp carom seeds, 1 tsp each of dry ginger powder, black peppercorns, 6-8 green chillies and 1.5 tsp salt adding a bit of water.
– Add this paste in the Kadhai and fry with the chicken for 4 minutes on medium high. Next add in 2 cups of hot water giving it a good mix and close the lid turning flame to low for 20-25 minutes checking and stirring in between. (Keep the timings as per the size of your chicken/pieces). Lastly add in 1 tbsp garam masala powder mixing well and garnish with roasted crushed kasoori methi topping up with some red chilli flakes.
