Try roasting the mushrooms first. Drying them out and then putting them in the liquid to rehydrate before you saute them. I'm telling you game changer. This is how I get people who don't like mushrooms to like them.
She used “nuts for cheese” vegan cheese brand smoked Gouda, it’s expensive as heck but soooo delicious, best vegan cheese brand for taste on its own. Miyokos and chao are more reasonable and very tasty.
