I’m literally drinking this smoothie as I type this! This is my favorite green smoothie recipe for giving me a much-needed iron boost each morning. If you have an iron deficiency like me or simply want to drink your way to better health, this smoothie is delicious, refreshing, and, most importantly, nutritious!

– Frozen mangoes: High in vitamin C and improves iron absorption
– Frozen bananas: High in potassium, a mineral that promotes heart health and normal blood pressure
– 1/2 a lime: Limes are high in vitamin C and antioxidants, improves iron absorption and promotes healthy skin
– Ginger: Aids better digestion and improves immunity
– Cucumber: Hydrating with a fiber boost
– Spinach: Great source of iron
– Flaxseeds: Great for digestive health
– Spring water: H20 is LIFE
– Coconut water: Hydrating and source of natural electrolytes
– Almond milk: My fav dairy-free alternative
