My Favorite Carne con Chile Verde y Papas Recipe #shorts

Today I’m making one of my favorites, carne de res en salsa verde con papas, a delicious meal to prepare at any time of the day 😋 I like to serve this with some refried beans and flour tortillas 🥰

CARNE CON CHILE VERDE INGREDIENTS:
For the salsa verde:
► 2 jalapeño peppers
► 10 tomatillos
► 1 tomato
► 1/2 cup water from where we boiled the veggies
► 1/4 white onion
► 2 chiles de arbol
► 1 garlic clove
► Bunch of cilantro
► 1 tbsp chicken bouillon
► 1/4 tsp ground cumin
For the meat:
► 2 lb. beef loin flap meat
► Salt and Pepper to taste
► 1/2 white onion
► 3 minced garlic cloves
► 4 golden potatoes

  1. I worked in a really good Mexican restaurant for close to 3 years and the one thing I learned is that I could drink verda sauce out of a cup it’s so good. I did it once in front of the cooks who spoke no English and earned the title of “honorary Mexican” and it’s still my proudest moment 😂 miss that place
