  1. 1 cup of kale, 1 -1/2 cup of unsweetened almond milk, 3 tbsp of chia seeds and of ground flaxseed, 1/2 frozen banana, half cup of blueberries, a drizzle of organic maple syrup!!! Instead of drinking coffee on my way to work I have my mega smoothie. Its great!

ALSO if you want to add a nutrient boost to any smoothie, add spinach or kale, you can't taste it at all and it's SOO good for you.

  3. Hey Donal! I got a Ninja Professional Blender for Christmas and I tried your frozen mixed berry smoothie Sunday morning. It was delicious!! I left out the chia seeds but did include the oats. I'm seriously thinking about making another one tonight. Haven't decided if I want to venture into the kale one yet.

  4. Oh yum! I love smoothies. I've made kale smoothies with apples as a sweetener before. But instead of using just the juice, I use a whole apple and a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar. Sounds weird, I know. But its sooooo good! Great video, Donal!
