๐ขHehe as I said po sa Video this is OUR FAMILY's version. (Kain po tayong maraming gulay para mabilis makaintindi ๐โ) And did you know that the Original Nilaga doesn't have ginger (as old generation/food historian says)? Also, did you know that both garlic and ginger removes the 'lansa' of the pork or any fishy taste of a certain dish? So you can substitute ginger with garlic and vice versa, or you can use both. ๐
๐ขTRIVIA: Sa mga nagsasabing Pochero raw ito…Did you also know that when you add Tomato Sauce to our Nilaga (with Saba) it will turn into Pochero? ๐๐
If you really are into cooking you know that the only difference of Nilagang Baboy from Pochero is just the Tomato Sauce (almost). Well, since others add Carrots and Pork & Beans to their Pochero.
๐ข Regarding PORK SCUM: as per health experts, pork scums are not toxic or harmful sa ating health. ๐ Hindi lang po siya maganda sa mata. Tinatanggal din naman namin ang scums kapag marami talaga at pangit sa paningin. At wala po kasing nag-rise na scum sa case ko dahil iba po yung way ko sa pagstart if nakita niyo po ๐ (hindi diretsong pakulo sa tubig).
If importanteng tanggalin talaga ang scums paano po natin ito tatanggalin kapag sa Barbecue or Lechon or anything na hindi pinapakuluan ang baboy? Thus, scum is not harmful po. Para lang po talaga appealing sa mata ng kakain ang tanging dahilan kung bakit po ito tinatanggal.

Tama po may time na matabang ang baboy, pwera na lang cguro kung fresh ang baboy at yong malambot na kasim, kahit i marinate mo sa asin be4 mo lutuin ganun pa rin matabang
