  1. That was a great cook , I have a pork butt frozen , but can’t wait to thaw it will be going to store to get a fresh one to cook today , you do a hell of a good job using the wood fire grill, I love mine since I got it two months ago, still learning the tricks , have a good year ,

  2. I like the way you explain things, I do follow other BBQ Smoke channels, but you are the one that gave the confidence to try to do smoke stuff, and all because of the time you spend explaining how its done, thanks so much, now I can enjoy this delicious food at home, with family without spending huge amounts of money on restaurants 😀 thanks gain you are the best! 😀

  3. Hey CJ, I followed your recipe. Had a joint 1.6kg. Smoked for just over an hour, then baked for just over an hour with 1 hour rest. I didn’t pull though, just nice tender slices. Should I bake longer next time or smoke longer? Thanks.

  4. I had just put my pork in the grill this morning when i came across your video. I adjusted as best i could. I used orange juice and my bbq sauce and it came out really good. Next time i will do it completely your way and see how it turns out. Thanks for doing what you do!

  5. Just got a standard size NWG for Christmas and tried your method last night on a 6.8lb shoulder after watching multiple videos. This one along with your 10 tips video helped a lot & the meat came out perfectly. I found the running commentary very helpful for tips along the way. Thank you for making the videos!

  6. i dont know what ive done wrong but mine wont go past 210 on the smoker setting, wont go past 240 on the air fryer setting either (as i made wings). do you think mine is defected. it was the first time using it yesterday.

  7. I made pulled pork using the NWG recipe booklet when I first got the grill. It was pretty underwhelming. I tried out this recipe today, and WOW! I couldn’t believe how tender the meat was! Thanks so much, I bought your cookbook right after dinner and can’t wait to try more recipes!

  8. CJ, I recently bought a Ninja Woodfire Grill and your videos really helped me to get started cooking on it. I've had delicious results with pork chops and chicken thighs, but the pulled pork I made with your recipe/technique was nothing short of spectacular! Thanks!

  9. I just got one of these off of Mac Bids for $2.00 they said it was damaged but it wasn't the reset just needed reset and it works like a dream. If you want to smoke anything a little longer once your pellets burn out add some more hold the ignition butting down for 3seconds and it will relight the pellets.
So I made ribs following your recipe I just turn down the heat to 220 and smoked them for 45 minutes longer basically a second burning of the pellet basket then wrapped and turned the temp up. They had more of a smoky taste but still not over powering.

  10. I have noticed that you typically bake (once wrapped) at more than 300F. Just wondering if you have tried baking at lower? Typically on a pellet grill I would be reluctant to go above 250. Just curious if there is a difference with this Ninja? Thanks for all videos..they have been really helpful.
