I love mayo cake. My mom made it alot growing up. I made it for my sons and they seen me put mayo in it once and said gross why are you putting mayo in cake. I said that choc cake you love had it in there too lol. They never knew till they watched me make it.

I was desperate for a bread and only had1 egg, a little milk, gluten-free flour, and Too-Good brand vanilla yogurt. It was sooo good. This reminds me of that. Can’t wait to try this!

Had to throw these in the trash. On a very limited budget n I just wasted everything. DONT use bread flour and Lactose free milk! These were nasty. Instead of baking 13-15 minutes I baked 25 minutes and they still never browned. Instead of the dough being pourable, mine could have been rolled out like for cookies. I don't know what went wrong but this is why I am afraid to try recipes. If they don't come out like the picture, I have wasted ingredients. I can't afford to do that.
I just finished making these again tonight. But a little different(sorry).
My grand baby is allergic to dairy
So I tried (first time) using dairy free mayonnaise and dairy free milk ( almond). I’m not sure if it would make any difference but we will find out tonight. Oh and I added a few spoons of honey for me. I did it after I separated hers she is 19 months old. ( made her about 3). She never had bread this will be her first.
Will give them a go🙂does it have to be full fat mayo🤔

Í used heavy whipping cream instead of milk. Delicious. Only needed too cook a little longer. 😊

I have tried to make this 10 times and it NEVER comes out looking like yours. 2 cups self rising flour, 3 heaping tbs of mayo, 1 cup milk. 375 degree… comes out not like yours

I am not sure about anyone else, however strange this is, but when I am a diabetic and I can eat a biscuit or a cornbread muffin and it doesnt effect my glucose like those hot rolls made with yeast. do.
