  1. Chef… it confounds me how you did not and any garlic weather sliced or chopped to this dish especially if you're going to substitute broccoli rabe or rapini or regular broccoli or other types of greens…. Having grown up in Yonkers NY for 56 years which is just outside of the five boroughs of Manhattan and been to many well kown Italian restaurants… this is a classic Italian dish that should have garlic. 🙂

  2. I just tried this recipe but I substituted spinach for arugula, and all I could find was mild Italian sausage so i added some pepper flakes but it turned out great, in fact we are planning to serve it the next time we have guests

  3. I made this for my husband. Good flavor but I wasn't careful enough with the salt despite using low sodium broth. He had one small bowl which made him a bit wired and caused some water retention 😂 oh well, you live and learn!

  4. Just made this. Very very good. Will make again. It also gives me a another recipe to help me use my excess of home made frozen chicken stock. Just FYI this recipe could EASILY be doubled. I made this for my partner and we both could have had twice as much. But we also love to eat…

  5. My favourite kitchen trick regarding pasta is to go buy yourself a cheap kitchen scale. If you use different shapes depending on the sauce, you will get more accurate results by weighing your pasta instead of trying to measure with a cup. I am 66, single, and trying to watch my weight. An ounce and a half is good for me if there is meat and plenty of veg. A little more if it's just pasta and cheese
