Eid Special Dessert Written Recipe with Directions:
Ingredients:
-Mango (aam) 1
-Milk (dhoodh) 1 liter
-Bread slices 6
-Green cardamom (sabaz elaichi) 2
-Sugar (Cheeni) ½ cup
-Cooking oil 1 cup
-Corn flour 1 tbs
-Milk (dhoodh) ¼ cup
-Pistachios (pista) for garnishing
-Cashew nut (Kaju) for garnishing
-Almonds (badam) for garnishing
Directions:
-Peel off the mango and cut it into cubes.
-In a blender, add 1-liter milk, sugar, mango, and a slice of bread and blend well.
-In a wok, add the prepared milk and bring it to a boil.
-In a bowl, add corn flour and ¼ cup milk and mix well.
-Add this mixture gradually and mix well. Cook it for 2-3 minutes on medium to low flame until it becomes thick and smooth.
-Bring it out in a pan.
-In a separate pan, add cooking oil and wait until it heats.
-Cut the 5 slices of bread into two halves by cutting from the center.
-Deep fry the slices of bread until it changes to light brown in color and crispy, then bring them out onto the strainer.
-Now half dip the slices of bread into the thick and smooth milk. Garnish with pistachios, cashew nuts, and almonds and let it cool at room temperature for an hour, then place it in the refrigerator for an hour.
-Serve and enjoy!
Tips and Tricks:
-You can also use custard powder instead of corn flour.
