Im set in my ways. I use Yukon golds, onion, dill pickles, bread and butters, sliced black olives, lots of diced boiled eggs, pickles juice, salt and pepper, lite yellow mustard and ALWAYS Best Foods Mayo!❤😊❤
this is like my mothering laws potato salad. the best I've ever had. absolutely awesome. she has been deceased longer that this recipe has been posted. it is family shared for years and 4 generations. Everyone should experience these!!!!
This is the way I do it, but for some reason, I haven't used the dry mustard….will do next time. Parsley is only if I have it on hand from another recipe. I usually don't. Oh, and vinegar (when ward…. didn't realize warm was important). Always learning from you the Test Kitchen.
Momma always used red russets, maybe that's why other peoples potato salad tasted different to me, when thanksgiving or Christmas is coming up i always call her way ahead of time, and ask her to make some, it's my favorite side dish.
Sounds pretty good except that dill pickles rule! And I would have to swap out the onions for maybe chives because my stomach doesn't like onions as much as my taste buds do.
I add horseradish mustard and sweet pickle juice with a couple table spoons of sour cream And miracle whip My neighbors love it

Egg does NOT belong in Potato Salad
No eggs in mine
You went so fast I couldn't get any of the ingredients
No, don't add vinegar straight to potatoes like that unless you like the flavor. I would add vinegar to a mayonnaise and mustard mixture.
You ruined it with the pickles. pickles don’t belong in potato salad. potato salad is a summer food. stick with fresh ingredients.
No Mayounyez? Boris wouldn't approve.

I love mustard potato salad 🤤
Do Americans know about dressings?
It's different than mayonnaise. Maybe give it a try some time. Google knows lots of variations
Dill pickle is better
Thank you so much ❤❤❤
I have their book and have made this recipe a few times – really tasty!
Leave that sweet relish out!
Chives? Video shows chives. 🤷♀️
Eggs ruin potato salad.

Don't love the vertical video format.
I see chives, but he didn’t mention them.
It’s really chopped veggies and spices with some potato. Not POTATO salad.
The best potato salad you’ll ever eat. Really(?) 😅
Way too many flavors fighting each other. Keep foods simple.
Love adding dry summer savory in my (similar to yours) potato salad.
