  1. I used to like Tetley British blend and PG Tips but they changed the taste and now they both taste awful!! I now drink Twinings English Breakfast Tea instead
Steep the Twinings for four minutes add a spot of milk and enjoy!

  2. When you say, "It's all marketing," I feel that is misleading. People might take that to mean that all black teas are the same product, which isn't true. It is true that there is not a single consistent definition for "English Breakfast Tea," there are some general similarities in the style of the tea and the sourcing. More importantly, there are a lot of different black teas. These teas may come from the same plant species, but they are grown differently and in different soils, harvested at different times, and processed differently, all of which create differences in the finished product. It is disappointing that you chose only to focus on tannins while ignoring all the other aspects.

  3. Why not try with milk no sugar? A lot of us don't like sugar in hot drinks. And only tea bags, ew. I taste paper! I like loose tea much better. The leaves bloom better in the water, and you don't get that dust you get in bags. Yeah, I like my tea!

  4. Wow. Well apparently I like my tea like I liked my wine. I always buy Tetley. I like it strong but only one store around me carries it. I could give the other one a try. I still don't get the milk and/or sugar in the tea. That's not my 'cup of tea'. lol Get it? haha
