Incomplete review, very biased and amateurish. How dare you push a very crappy B & D product? Shame on you!
For the algorithm 👏👏👏🤙💪🤟🤓🥳😎
I was surprised to hear electric knifes existed. i can understand its accessibility purpose but other then that idk.
"civilized people"
What brands–aside from Cuisinart and B&D–were tested?
Waf you are making trash chalange video.
Electric knife vs iron ( ya iron not a simple knife there is no 100$ knife which cannot cut chiken or brad better then this trash)
P.S. Good blass you man
Workmans comp Julia, lol
I know sourdough bread and meats are hard to cut
And hey- a block of cheese
The second knife that Julia Cullen Davidson Used sounded absolutely terrible! It sounded like it was struggling to cut through the meat, and it didn't sound consistent. It was way too loud and way too high pitched. The Black & Decker knife, however, Did not sound nearly as bad and as she used it to cut through the meat, the motor did not sound like it was going to break. If I was with her and had to use one, I would have to put my earplugs in, because I can't stand the sound of an electric knife, especially when it's loud like that with only one speed. The second electric knife also looked about as ugly as Sin.
Not sure if Black+Decker has changed how they make this electric knife- but I bought it last week and have already returned it. It could not cut through a fresh turkey breast that I roasted or bread that I had baked without shredding everything like confetti.
Question. How would one of these manage with Raw Meat please? Thank you : )
I'm here cause of good girls on Netflix
I hate electric knives very much because of their high pitch scream, but the Black & Decker white electric knife sounded so much better than the left knife that Julia Collin Davison used. That one sounded absolutely awful!
I bought a new (in box) electric knife a couple of years ago, tried to use it for the first time a week or so ago. I had trouble, it seemed like it didn't want to cut unless I gave it downward pressure and made a cutting motion. What's the point of an electric knife if you still have to slice like a manual knife? I used it on a corned beef. Slices were pretty thick, I wanted to make thin slices for sandwiches. But if I tried to make thin slices it just shredded the meat, or curled away into non-uniform slices.
Very informative, thank you. Can you tell me if an electric knife works to cut raw chicken breasts that are too thick, into cutlets?
I own the winner. Yesterday and today I used it to slice breasts of two turkeys (each day) at church. On both days, the body of the knife got very hot. I’d prefer one that can handle more work without overheating. But I totally agree that the ergonomics and maneuverability of this knife are very good.
Love these equipment reviews. Thanks
You guys missed the mark with this one… Rapala Cordless Fillet Knife FTW!!!
Cordless Electric Knife? That would be good.
They work good on cutting seat foam too.
Just in case anyone asks….Using a Sawzall to carve a frozen turkey, because you forgot to turn on the oven, is a really bad idea.
I am sorry but I would rather use a knife that I have sharpened my self than to use something depending on electricity.
we still have the same electric knife from the 1970s, we have no idea if it still works. LOL but it's still stay true to our own test kitchen. to never be used again.
My electric knife a wedding gift lasted 30 years. It was a GE I haven't replaced it. I guess maybe I should.
I just checked and the winning electric knife isn't $19.99, it's $38.91. Quite a jump. No thanks.
You need to get out of the kitchen and head for the boat… The new fillet knifes and very nice!
I've had the Black and Decker Electric Knife for a few months now after getting into Sourdough baking because of well… You know…
I've had great success with it. It cuts through the thickest of crust with ease!
I only wish it were cordless, but at the $13 I paid for it, I'm not complaining.
I use it to filet fish and it is really good, freshwater species…I agree with the pick and enjoy your shows….keep up the Great job!!…😊
We use an electric knife that came as a free gift when we purchased a bread maker in the 1980's. The bread maker has long since died–the knife is still going strong. Hubby now makes his own bread from scratch and the knife works perfectly to cut it.
Follow the above link to Amazon & pay $35. Go direct to Black & Decker & it's $20 as stated in the video. Hmm.
Was this tested by any left handers? I have several power tools I cannot use because the safety lock is just in the spot to get pressed by my left hand when using.
The winning knife is also great for carving foam.
I just keep my regular 20cm chef's knife sharp. There's nothing a properly sharp knife won't just slice straight through.
We have always used an electric knife to do the turkeys, my parents original from probably the 60s is still good and going! They are also great for ham.
I have a GE from 1967 that I use to cut ham at Christmas. Still works perfect. Even back then mine has the trigger and it grips nicely.
Very disappointed the American Angler, Bass Pro, Bubba Blade and Mister Twister electric fillet knives weren't tested. The looks I got when I took my old, trusty Mister Twister to a Thanksgiving turkey were priceless!
I still use a 20 year old one for prime rib roasts and briskets. Wish someone would develop a cordless one that didn’t look and sound like a hedge trimmer 🤭
If that Black & Decker is anything like their other products, it'll work for a few days then quit, assuming it wasn't already broken in the box. Their quality has dropped horribly over the last 20 years.
You’d think that there’d be cordless models available.
I’ve been using my black and decker electric knife and over the 30 years of use have checked to update it. I guess I can now. Thx. I use it all the time for bread. Great for watermelons too.
Electric knife- stupid.
My parents had an old one they might still have it that only came out for the holidays to carve the turkey.
Ours didn’t last 10 minutes
