Ingredients

Oxtail / Valadi – 1 kg
Shallots – 1 cup
Garlic – 20 cloves
Green chilli – 4 nos
Ginger – a small piece
Pepper Powder – 1 tsp
Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
Garam masala powder – 1/2 tsp
Salt as needed
Water – 4 cups

Oil – 1 tbsp
Shallots
Curry leaves
Pepper Powder
Garam masala Powder
Coriander leaves

Instructions
In a pressure cooker, add oxtail, shallots, garlic, green chillies, ginger, curry leaves, turmeric powder, pepper powder, garam masala powder, salt, and water. Cook on high flame till 1 whistle, then lower flame to medium and cook for 1/2 hour. Switch off the stove. Allow the flame to release on its own. Open the pressure cooker and mix well.

In a pan, heat oil. Add curry leaves and shallots. Saute till the shallots starts to change color. Lower the flame, add garam masala powder. Serve oxtail soup with coriander leaves.
