Prep:
1. Season the ribs per the instructions in the video.
2. Slice the ribs individually and season both sides.
3. Transfer to a wire rack for cooking and ease of transport.
| Cooking |
1. Set your smoker temperature for 275° F.
2. Put the ribs on the smoker, and let them smoke for 1 hour.
3. After 1 hour, flip the ribs and continue cooking for another hour.
4. After 2 hours total, transfer the ribs to a foil pan and add butter, hot honey, and Pucks shootout bbq sauce, cover, and return to the smoker for 45 minutes.
5. After 45 minutes, check the ribs for tenderness. If they’re tender, remove from the pan and back onto the wire rack. Sauce with the leftover buttery bbq sauce in the pan. Let set for 2-3 minutes, flip the ribs, and repeat the process.
6. After the sauce has set, remove from the smoker and let them cool for 5-10 minutes.

I think your idea of seasoning before cutting was genius. Wish I had of done that on my first go-round. Good video. I’ll like and subscribe.

Did this with beef ribs last weekend. Found some at Costco that were already cut and had never seen them pecut before, so did them, and the family loved it. So i will try this method with pork ribs next

Great video and I love the final color!
I made some yesterday with St. Louis-style ribs – they were delicious, however, they are nowhere near as meaty as baby back ribs. Next time, I will try these with baby back ribs. I cut them apart before seasoning.
