Pasta Bolognese | Itaki Pro Electric Lunch Box Recipe



Fancy having some freshly cooked pasta bolognese for lunch in the office? Follow this simple recipe with the itaki pro and you will have lunch ready in no time. Just add water to the prepared ingredients one hour before lunch, then sit back and relax (or continue to work) while your food cooks. Remember to keep the prepared ingredients in the refrigerator until cooking time.

Ingredients:
50g – cherry tomato
50g – cremini mushroom
1/2 cup – pasta (any type)
125g – ground turkey (or beef)
1/3 cup – pasta sauce
1/3 cup – water (itaki)
1/3 cup – water (pasta)
Parmesan cheese – as much as you like

  1. After trying a couple of times the way the video does it, I changed the recipe a bit. First I steamed just the pasta covered in water with some salt, about 10 min. Then I poured out almost all the excess water, added all the other ingredients and steamed for another 30 min approx. This way the dish wasn’t soupy and tasted better, at least that’s what I found.

  2. Hello how nice that is this product.
    But as an Italian I must say that this is not Bolognese pasta 😜
    Beef and pork is used,Sautéed carrots, onions and celery, blended with red wine. No cherry tomatoes, no mushrooms.
    Parmesan is perfect, Pasta is never cooked in sauce. 🙂 This is not a negative comment. I appreciate the commitment to making pasta. But I just wanted to say that you don't prepare like that. 🙂I hope you can taste the real Bolognese sauce. Have a nice day.
