A tasty, spicy recipe prepared using pasta and sausage along with the onions, tomatoes and spices. This recipes is a good choice for a weekend special to enjoy the dinner with your family.
INGREDIENTS FOR THE SAUSAGE PASTA:
Pasta – 300 g
Sausage (chopped) – 1 packet (300 g)
Onion – 3 (chopped)
Tomato – 2 (chopped)
Tomato sauce – 2 tbsp
Soya sauce – 3 tsp
Chilli powder – 3/4 tsp
Coriander powder – 1 tsp
Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
Pasta seasonings – 2 tsp
Olive oil – 3 tbsp + 1 tsp
Water – as needed
Salt – to taste

METHOD:
* Drain the pasta in a colander to drain the water and rinse it with cold(plain) water and keep aside.
* Heat 3 tbsp of oil in a kadai. Add the onions and fry for 3 minutes.
* Add the tomatoes and fry till it is soft cooked.
* Add the sausages and saute for 3 minutes.
* Add the chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, pasta seasoning and salt and saute for 2 minutes.
* Add water and give a stir. Put the lid on the kadai and cook for 5 minutes.
* Add the cooked pasta and mix well.
* Add soyasauce, tomato sauce and salt(if needed) and mix well.
* Add pasta seasoning. Cover with the lid and simmer for 2 minutes.
* Open and give a gentle mix.
* Transfer the yummy pasta to the serving bowl and is now ready to taste.
TIPS:
* Rinsing the cooked pasta in cold or plain water helps to prevent the pastas from sticking to each other.
* Sausage usually contains salt in it, so adjust the salt level accordingly.
* Mixed vegetables or chicken pieces can be used instead of sausages.
