  1. In a restaurant it might be amusing (if the wait staff stay to immediately remove the filthy glass), but at home it would just be stupid. More awkward things to watch, sauce dripping on the table when the glass is put to the side, etc. 0/10 would not try in the first place. Also, the parmesan ends up in an awful little pile instead of nicely dispersed.

  2. It’s done it’s wasteful I don’t see the point. if you’re asking what I mean by wasteful using a wine glass but there’s no wine in it to put pasta in when you could put that just as easily on a plate same goes for the cheese on top. It’s a waste of space and time and cleaning up.

  3. I look at these trends and i always ask if i could swap the serving method and if it would still feel fancy. Like omurice, i dont have that shaping dish, but it works fine with a small bowl, a ramekin or even a measuring cup (just for shape not presentation). Recipe books that show mousse served in a wine glass, turns out just as well with a cyclone glass, a rocks glass, a curvy coke glass, milkshake cup, heck even a mug or an old peanut butter jar. i dont think this trend would work with any other glassware so it's a waste of time in my eyes.
