Here’s my favourite peanut butter and jam smoothie! Dairy-free, gluten free (all options here) and absolutely delicious and not to mention healthy. Enjoy!

I’m a bit of a health nut and have to manage on a gluten-free and dairy-free diet. With that said, smoothies have been my breakfast of choice for years now. Many of you have asked about some smoothie recipes that I use, so I’ve put this one together for you and will have a few more to share!

Ingredients:
1 cup of milk (or almond milk, or coconut milk, or rice milk, or soy milk…catch my drift?)

2 tbsp. peanut butter (or almond butter, or cashew butter…catch my drift?)

1 cup frozen berries (strawberries, blackberries, raspberries, etc.) but they have to be frozen!

Then, I add (for extra healthy benefits):

1 tbsp. ground flax seed
1 tbsp. chia seed
1 tbsp. hemp seed
1/4 tsp. turmeric (can’t taste it!)
3 D Drops (for vitamin D deficiency)

Blend together for 40 seconds or so (or until your desired consistency is reached) and ENJOY! Drink with a straw to avoid staining your teeth. Remember to use frozen berries to get that really nice thick consistency, or else it turns out like juice.

This is filled with fiber and protein and tastes like you paid $7 for it.

Thanks for watching!

  1. Hey Melissa! In one of your Clean My Space videos you mantioned about your glutein-free diet. It would be really nice if you could do semi VlogVideo of short clips what you ate through out the day all week for example. I'm so inspired, because I have the same isues you had in your early twenties as you mentioned. From now and then I'm dealing with pimples, I easily gain weight if I don't eat carefully, I feel like blah most of the time because of my eating I think. And besides that I feel really bad if I eat dairy products. So it would be really nice if you could make your gluein-free diet vlog 🙂

  2. Great smoothie – made a variation of it, and it was splendid! Thanks for cutting off the blender noise (I own a Blendtec). One comment on turmeric, it needs pepper to "activate" all its properties.

I mostly do green smoothies, it was a nice twist for a Saturday morning.

  3. Do you plan on making more smoothie recipe videos? My Blendtec comes tomorrow and the first thing I am going to make is this smoothie! (Only with frozen raspberries since I don't have strawberries)
