Pepper Steak – 15 Minute Recipe | Better Than Takeout!



A takeout favorite made right at home in less than 20 minutes and for a fraction of the cost!

PEPPER STEAK INGREDIENTS:
1 lb Sirloin Steak
2 Bell Peppers, cut into chunks
1 Medium Yellow Onion, cut into chunks
2 Cloves of Garlic, grated or minced
2 tsp of Grated Fresh Ginger
1/2 cup of Low Sodium Soy Sauce plus 2 tbsp of water (forgot to mention in the video)
1/4 cup of Brown Sugar
1 Tbsp of Mirin
2 tsp of Rice Vinegar
2 tsp of Sesame Oil
2 Tbsp of Neutral Oil
1 Tbsp of Cornstarch

  1. Have you thought about adding a bit of baking soda to the marinating beef? It insures that the beef comes out so tender. I use it on chicken and shrimp as well when I'm cooking Asian stir fries.

  2. The original Siriacha manufacturer is out if business. He couldn't get enough peppers so he began to outsource and when the farmers learned he didn't trademark Siriacha they began manufacturing it themselves and forced him out if business due to bad deals with the Pepper Farmers. Good luck finding Sambal and Chili Garlic Sauce. My favorite ls. I hope someone else begins manufacturing those as well…I was in California last summer only miles from the real Siriacha Pant. Nothing going on. Stormy shelves have no original Siriacha. Goya makes an almost exact version.
