✅ Air Fryer Steak – Perfect Every Time
INGREDIENTS
2 Ribeye or New York Strip steaks (go for 1 1/2 inches thick)
avocado oil
salt
GARLIC HERB BUTTER
2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
1/2 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
1/2 teaspoon minced garlic
1/4 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/8 teaspoon salt
INSTRUCTIONS
Temper the steak by letting it sit at room temperature for 20-30 minutes.
Prepare the garlic butter by mixing together the softened butter, parsley, garlic, Worcestershire, and salt.
Pat steaks dry with paper towels, then rub a little bit of oil over the steak and bottom of air fryer basket. Liberally season steaks with salt and pepper.
Preheat air fryer to 400°F/200°C for 10 minutes.
Once preheated, place steaks in air fryer.
Cook for 10-16 minutes, flipping and rotating halfway through.
Cooking time will vary depending on your air fryer and thickness of steaks. Internal temperature of steak should be 130°-135°F/54.4-57.2°C for medium-rare or 140°-145°F/60-62.8°C for medium.
Remove steak from air fryer and place on baking rack. Top with garlic butter and allow to rest for 1/2 the time it took to cook.
Alternatively, turn off air fryer, leaving steaks in it, top steaks with butter, close air fryer and let rest for half the amount of time it took to cook.

You owe me 6 minutes and 54 seconds of my life back. I should of stopped watching when u put a pinch of salt on and said itll be good. I am beyond dissapointed. The finished product almost had me gagging in my mouth. I was excited to try cooking something new in my air frier… but now i think ill just stick to chicken. So thanks for that. Saving me the time and dissapointment that is.
Put some pepper on that meat
Note to the world if you are cheap like most of us and you use cheap paper towels like some of us than some of the paper will stick to your steak so I prefer not to dry my steak with any type of paper towel at all.
Thank you for your video.
I was wondering, cause I can't find Recipes, Or anything else for it anywhere, I have a faberwear air fryer. it looks like an oven with 3 trays in it.
Would my cooking time be the same as this type that you are using
What type of air fryer should I buy let me know thank you
Thanks for this guide, much appreciated. By the way, you can call it Worcester Sauce, pronounced wuster. (I'm English, trust me, we call it that too).
This video is basically an ad. She doesn’t get to the point until like halfway through. It should never take anyone 15 minutes to cook a steak.
I only let the meat sit for 20 mnts and dry it as you instructed before cooking it in the air fryer and I swear to God I've never seen true gold color on a steak's fat in my life, flavor was completely different than other stakes I have ever made in a grill or air fryer. Thank you so much for this small but very important life changing tips when cooking.
Hi, does anyone know the setting you need to use to make the steaks? My air fryer (Instant Vortex Plus) has an “air frying” and “grill” settings, which do different things with the heat. I’ve noticed Kathy uses the “beef” setting in her Cosori, what would be the equivalent for the rest of us?
“Heavy handed”
Interesting
I DO love your scissors! I need those in my life!
What size is your air fryer?
I love my air fryer! ☺️😊
Hi I have not one but two ninja air fryers. A ‘tender crisp’ which is the larger one for cooking joints of meat stews and the like. The other one is a ninja dual zone for things like chips, chicken quarters and steak and so forth. I noted you warmed your air fryer for 10 minutes at full heat before adding your steaks. If it was a conventional oven, that’s ok, but due to the much smaller size of the air fryer, this step is totally unnecessary as well as a waste of energy. I put my steaks in and cook for about 6 minutes each side and they are perfect. Your warming period is almost the total cooking time ! Happy air frying ………
Why do Americans drop the 'h' from 'herb'?
It's pronounced "wooster-sheer" sauce by the way 🙂
Going to give this a go tonight, looks lovely, one tip for you
Worcestershire sauce is pronounced wus ta shire sauce
This is blasphemy! The Air Fryer culture is a cult
i use Steak seasoning
“Oil your meat” check! ✅ 😂
Hi Cathy.
These look so delicious! I plan to make these this week, but I'm a total newbie ( literally just got my air fryer yesterday and have not yet ever used one).
I have a newbie question for you. I understand what temperature to cook the steaks on, but what mode do I use.
I am presuming that they should be cooked on "air fry", not "broil," or any of the other settings.
Thanks!
The way she said ‘Worcestershire’ 😂😂😂😭
I use a Ninja air fryer. As far as meat is concerned I find that the pressure cooker is best. I cook the meat halfway then let it stand while I prepare any seasoning that I'm going to use. Then I transfer to the crisper. On Boxing day this year, I had the family around and laid out Chicken Breast, Chicken legs, Boiled ham, Turkey, Tandori Chicken, and Beef joint sliced. All cooked to perfection in the Air fryer. Don't forget to buy a machine that has an air pressure facility, it will turn tough into tender…
Air fryer Angel!! Thanks 😊
I was almost sick in my mouth where you said "worchester-shire" sauce"
It's pronounced "wuster" sauce.
That's the inner English rant out the way, cracking video. Makes a mean steak! 😃
Thanks! Was too cold to grill tonight. Appreciate your tips gonna give it a try
Wuss – ter – sh -uh sauce
What setting? E.g. Air fryer/roast/bake
After watching all this I'll just pull out the frypan.
You pronounced Worcestershire source wrong. Just say this…. "Wuss ter shire sauce" it says Chester dont you dont say it like that. Its pronounced exactly how i phoneticly described.
butter looks like a child was making it lol
Ive been messaging my meat before i even bought steak
You got me to buy an air fryer! Same brand as yours! 🥰
I've been cooking steak for my husband for years and it's just been 'OK'. I tried your recipe and he said it was out of this world! Best steak he's ever had! Thank you so much!!!! ❤️

What size turkey is key to fit in that Air fryer though? I have a turkey and I don't have a oven so I'm wondering if I can cook it in the Air fryer it's about 10 pounds
