  1. Yeah my issue is with Fillet is that to truly enjoy it to it's full potential you HAVE to pair it with a sauce/wrap it in pastry otherwise I don't think it hits like other steaks do just on their own. That's an undeniably good steak and I would for sure eat it and thoroughly enjoy it, but I prefer a different cut to be honest. To each their own!

  2. I mean… Call me an uncultured peasant that lacks taste, but steak is steak, and if you apply the same flavors to various cuts of meat, but use the proper cooking techniques for each so you don't cook it to leather, is the experience really all that different?
    Genuinely curious because I AM in fact an uncultured peasant and can count on one hand the amount of times I've had a steak that wasn't from Denny's, and those ARE cooked to leather, so…
