Try using a can of coke instead of chicken broth, it's fantastic
I dont add the vinegar to the broth so that I can turn it into gravy afterwards, would recommend cuz it made a vary tasty gravy. I aslo dont add the BBQ sauce to all of the meat so I have more options to add it to other dishes like pork tacos

Do it in a crock pot and u will have a little liquid left, I put the liquid in the fridge and scoop out the fat and just add all that seasoning goodness back to the pork. It is delicious that way. Don't ever throw out all that good seasoning. I even keep it in the freezer and add it when making stew pork
I have made this at least 20 times over the years and always look up this video before I make it, 5lbs or 10lbs of meat it always runs out. Happy Holidays!

The meat claws look great for home defense. Keep one under your pillow at night in case of home invasion.
I did a 4lb porkbutt for 115mins in my pressure cooker and it wasn't tender at all. I put it back in and am slow cooking it now. Hopefully it comes out good when I get home.

If you really want to enhance the pork shoulder, add about 3/4 tsp of Cumin to that dry rub. One of the best flavor compliments for pork.

Most grocery store meat departments will slice that meat for you much easier

Not trying to be a hater, I'm sure it tastes ok and is convenient but coming from a guy that uses his smoker a couple times a week: that's not BBQ.

Buy your meat cubbed, throw in pc 30 min nat release. Throwbbq sauce and be done. Its amazing.. Liquid smoke helps with smoke flvor

What size instant pot were you using for this recipe. I've been thinking of buying one for that exact size pork butt but don't know which size instant pot I would need.
I'm sure it makes good food… But it can be made into a bomb to kill people and has been in the past so turn it in to the local government as it is against the law to own one now! LOL
