Love Philly Cheesesteaks? Then you HAVE to try these Philly Cheesesteak Pinwheels! They’re packed with juicy steak, melty provolone, and flavorful capsicum and onions. Plus, they come together in just over an hour!
🛒 What You’ll Need:
✅ 500g skirt steak
✅ 1 brown onion
✅ 1 green and 1 red capsicum
✅ Provolone cheese
✅ Your favorite beef seasoning (I used my Beef Bounce Rub!)
🔥 How I Made Them:
1️⃣ Prep the Veggies: Sauté the capsicum and onion until softened.
2️⃣ Prepare the Steak: Trim and flatten the skirt steak, then season generously.
3️⃣ Assemble & Roll: Add provolone, capsicum, and onions, then roll up tightly and tie.
4️⃣ Smoke & Sear: Cook on the BBQ at 275°F (135°C) with a chunk of smoking wood for around 45 minutes until it reaches 110°F (48°C) internal temp.
5️⃣ Final Sear: Sear the outside, let it rest for 10 minutes, then slice and sear the cut sides for extra flavour.
🔥 The Result? A smoky, cheesy, and incredibly delicious twist on a classic Philly cheesesteak!

that goes on my list of things to make. Question about the skirt steak though..Does it go by any other name? Does the local aussie supermarket generally sell that cut or is that something I would need to get at a butcher?
