Plum crumble recipe | Delicious and low-cost autumn dessert | Vegetarian



I’m taking advantage of some beautiful, ripe plums from a childhood tree in this video and baking up a delicious, yet inexpensive, plum crumble with almonds and cardamom.

In the next video I’ll be using up more free autumn fruit, this time apples, and making a lovely, golden apple pie and some apple juice.

Plum crumble
Serves 4 to 6. Bake at 180C for 35 minutes.
100g plain flour
½ tsp ground cardamom or other spice of your choice
75g butter
50g oats
50g flaked almonds
100g caster sugar
800g (approximately) plums, stoned and chopped
