Achieve Pork Belly Perfection: Tender, Juicy, and Crispy
Ingredients:
• 2 lb pork belly
• 2 tbsp soy sauce
• 2 tsp of sea salt
• 2 tbsp brown sugar
• 2 cloves of garlic, minced
• 1 tsp five spice powder
• 1/4 tsp black pepper
Instructions:
1. Start by seasoning the pork belly with soy sauce, sea salt, brown sugar, minced garlic, five spice powder, and black pepper. Mix well to ensure the pork belly is fully coated.
2. Preheat your sous vide water bath to 152°F (67°C)
3. Seal the seasoned pork belly in a vacuum seal bag or use the water displacement method.
4. Once the water bath has reached the desired temperature, carefully lower the sealed pork belly into the water bath.
5. Cook the pork belly for 36 hours.
6. Once the pork belly is done cooking, remove it from the water bath and let it cool before patting it dry.
7. Preheat your air fryer to 450°F (232°C)
8. Place the pork belly in the air fryer and cook it for 10-12 minutes, or until the skin is crispy.
9. Once done, remove the pork belly from the air fryer and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
