1 diced onion
3 cloves minced garlic
1 tsp peppercorn
2 star anise
3 tbsp black beans (tausi)
3 bay leaves (laurel)
1/3 cup soy sauce
1/4 vinegar
1/4 cup water
1 cup pineapple juice
2 tbsp sugar
