  1. I was lost for ideas of what to cook but now I’m spoilt for choice lol , I must say rik these meals u make are not expensive and these days of cost of living in uk they are perfect, not only cheap to make but they don’t look cheap , thanks rik x

  2. Thank you for your recipes, Rik. I tend to be hard on myself when cooking, but watching your calm delivery and easy to follow recipes helps me remember to just enjoy cooking. I'm not sure how I came across your channel, but I'm very fortunate that I did. Thank you.

I had forgotten about pork and apples till I started watching YouTube a couple of years ago,I then remembered we often ate pork with apples when I was growing up, and even here in the States it was popular back in the 60’s 70’s and I’m sure it still is in homes. I just don’t see it in restaurants any more, plenty of pork chops though. I saw a creator last week making a similar recipe with chicken we called it Chicken Normandy,also popular in the US back in the same time period. I think we need these old dishes back as they were fancy,but easy,and pretty budget friendly, and of course delicious.Thanks Rik lovely recipe as usual.😊

    Me: hearing my Grandma in my head who was born in 1921: Tenderloin…. First bleach the table cloths and napkins, polish the Silverwear and someone make sure the doorstep and cobbles are thorougly scrubbed, rinsed and dried – and whilst your at it, "mek sure thas cleaned thi lug oils proply" its Tenderloin toneyt an thas ad to part wi some brass for it!"
