Never a long drawn out explanations with Jacques he always gets right to the point and clearly describes method and timings.
Legend❤
I love his attitude. It isn't about the recipe, It is about cooking. "I usually use wine, but this time I am using V-8." It's what's in the refrigerator? I'm hungry….. (It always come out elegant.)
Mr. Pepin: We will all deglaze with V8 eventually. I'm still using wine.
GOAT
I was looking for a pork tenderloin recipe,, I went NO further! 🙂 He has 2 recipes and now I have to decide which one to use!! Either way I WIN! 🙂 Jacques is simply THE best and how simple could this be!??
Did not know he lost his wife. HE is such a good man
His knife skills are still extraordinary for his age. I think when you’ve been a chef for 60+ years, your knife skills are the last thing that leaves you.
I know he's French but I consider him a national treasure ❤
So… Did anyone try that? Does it take nice?
Giant of the culinary world but not cooking the water (and actually adding it) out of mushrooms is killing me. Water has no taste just like Chef Jean-Pierre says.
Love Jacques – not convinced about this recipe!
7:00 minutes. JP is one of the few!
Marvelous!!! Yes like so many others i watched you on weekends with my father.. Always humble on camera filled with subtlety. A pleasure sir.
I culd devour anything this Man cooks!! Is food is simple for the most part bcuz he doesn't go Crazy with the ovr seasoning as most Cooks do nowadays. This Man IS a True Chef. I do wonder wat happened to his left shoulder tho. Injury/ Surgery possibly
Amazing how easy he makes cooking!
He used the bowl as spatula😂🤣😅
Thank you chef
You make love for youlove
Chef Pepin’s videos show the importance of using high quality pans and utensils, as well as high quality ingredients.
Rapidly becoming my favourite on-line chef..! 👍🏻

A short ti the point video without flannel. Classy.
😋
mushrooms will be raw ..corn hard and pork simply not cooked.Looks nice Jacques but would be horrible to eat.
On vous adore Jacques Pépin !!! 🙂
Brilliant.
This is the finest pork tenderloin recipe I've tried in my life.
Jaques I had a dislike for pork, but I was really interested in trying this recipe. It was tender, juicy and delicious and so easy to do.
Many thanks
beautiful dish — many ways to do it but I would have done the mushrooms as the tenderloin was cooking —- would straining the sauce make it more elegant?
Jacques Pepin has ascended to the point of being able to make homestyle meals in literal minutes with a number of ingredients you can count on one hand. He's been honing his craft over several decades. This was ridiculously easy to make and incredibly delicious.
I think it's a greater test of an artist to ask them to do something simple – something they would have done in the beginning. Jacques Pepin is a masterwork Chef… It doesn't matter if you give him world class ingredients or you give him spam and day old bread – he will return to you something truly special.
Love checking out these videos. Just full of simple and quick meal ideas with ingredients you can get at any supermarket, with no pretentiousness. Easy recipes done extraordinarily.
I can see why Anthony Bourdain looked up to him.
Thank you Chef Jacques! This’ll be the second of your tenderloin recipes I’ll make, though I’ll use some of my homemade sauce to deglaze instead of the V8, and add frozen peas to the mushrooms instead of corn. Perfect!
Love you J
Fast food level 1000.!

Love watching Chef Pépin do his magic.
I’m really loving this series!!!
Always with an old mushroom…so great.
I've only had pink pork when I sous vide it. Is it safe to eat pink when seared on a pan and not held at that temp for a while?
Pepin is God!
Looks great I never know how to do pork
I'm always worried when it's still pink inside.this looks very simple and tasty
