Craving samosas but short on time? Try this Quick Bread Samosa Recipe! Made with simple ingredients and no hassle, these crispy and delicious samosas are perfect for tea-time snacks or party appetizers. Watch the full video to learn how to make these instant samosas with bread.

Cooking time: 50 mins

Pounded masala:
Coriander seeds 1 tbsp
Jeera 1 tbsp
Black pepper 1 tsp
Fennel ½ tsp

For bread samosa stuffing:
Oil 1 tbsp
Jeera 1 tsp
Garlic Chopped 1 tsp
Green chilli 1 tsp
Hing ½ tsp
Pounded masala 1 tbsp
Turmeric powder ½ tsp
Coriander powder 1 tsp
Red chilli powder 1 tsp
Garam masala ½ tsp
Green peas ½ cup
Water as required
Boiled potato 2 pcs
Salt ½ tsp
Amchur powder ½ tsp
Tartri ¼ tsp bbbb
Coriander chopped 1 tbsp
Paneer dices ½ cup
Bread slices 7-8 pcs
Oil deep frying

Method:

Step 1: Prepare the Pounded Masala
Heat a pan on low flame and dry roast coriander seeds, cumin seeds, black pepper, and fennel seeds until aromatic.
Once cooled, pound them coarsely using a mortar and pestle or grind them lightly. Set aside.

Step 2: Make the Stuffing
Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds. Let them splutter.
Add chopped garlic, green chilies, and a pinch of hing. Sauté until fragrant.
Stir in 1 tbsp of the pounded masala, turmeric powder, coriander powder, red chili powder, and garam masala. Sauté for a few seconds.
Add green peas and a little water. Cover and cook until peas soften.
Mash boiled potatoes into the mixture. Add salt, amchur powder, and tartaric acid (tartri) for tanginess. Mix well.
Stir in chopped coriander and paneer dices. Mix gently. Remove from heat and let it cool.

Step 3: Prepare the Bread Wrappers
Trim the edges of the bread slices.
Roll each slice lightly with a rolling pin to flatten.
Cut each slice diagonally to form two triangular halves.

Step 4: Assemble and Shape the Samosas
Take a bread triangle and apply a little water on the edges.
Fold it into a cone shape, sealing the edges with water.
Stuff the cone with the prepared filling.
Seal the open edge tightly by pressing with fingers.

Step 5: Fry the Bread Samosas
Heat oil in a deep pan for frying.
Gently slide the prepared samosas into the hot oil and fry until golden brown and crispy.
Remove and drain excess oil on a kitchen towel.
Step 6: Serve
Serve the crispy bread samosas hot with mint chutney or tamarind sauce. Enjoy
