Quick & Easy Coconut Modak For Ganesh Chaturthi



Ingredients
2 cups (200g) dried desiccated coconut
¾ cup (180ml) sweetened condensed milk
1/3 cup (80ml) milk
1 teaspoon ghee

1. Heat ghee in a pan, add desiccated coconut and roast 3-4 mins till aromatic.

2. Mix in condensed milk, then add milk and cook 3-4 mins till absorbed and mixture leaves the pan and forms a ball like structure.

3. Check by rolling a small ball in your hand-if it holds shape, it’s ready. Cool 5 mins.

4. Fill mixture in a modak mould, press, remove excess, and gently unmould.

5. Repeat for all modaks and store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 10 days.
