Quick Meaty Spaghetti
Ingredients:
1/4 kg spaghetti, cooked according to package directions
1/2 cup grated MAGNOLIA CHEEZEE
Sauce:
3 tbsp DARI CREME CLASSIC
1 (60 g) pc onion, cubed
6 cloves garlic, crushed
1 (100 g) pc carrot, grated
1/4 kg MONTEREY GROUND PORK
4 pc PUREFOODS TENDER JUICY HOTDOG CLASSIC, sliced
1 (198 g) can button mushrooms pieces and stems, drained
1 (320 g) pack banana ketchup
Procedure:
1. Heat margarine in a pan. Sauté onion, garlic and carrot. Add pork and cook until meat changes in color.
2. Add hotdogs, mushrooms and ketchup. Simmer for 5 minutes over low heat, stirring occasionally.
3. Top or toss with cooked pasta. Sprinkle with grated cheese.
Makes 6 servings.
(Yield: 6 cups/1 cup per serving)
Tip/s:
– Carrot can be substituted with other veggies like squash or sayote.
– Substitute pork with ground beef or chicken.
– Garnish with snipped parsley.
– Served with garlic bread/rolls.
