The whole point of cooking pasta in a separate pot of water is to send all that starch (gumminess) down the drain. If you want to add flavor to your pasta, undercook it by a minute or two and add that to your one pot dish right before you eat it.
Now that's a new Orleans meal right there my grandpa always used linguine noodles we did tortaline for the jumboliya and it's the best but this is so true a passed down new Orleans recipe and yu hit um wit the these noodles 😂😂😂😂 man I love this guy
