I am going to try this recipe for Diwali.Β
Do you wait until the milk mixture is at room temperature before pouring over the cake?
It took me so much time to bake the Ric itβs cheese. It wasnβt setting at all I needed to keep more than hour to bake it. Did I do something wrong?
r u in u.s.a
I just made this with the exact proportions, turned out to be so good! This is an amazing recipe, thank you! My cake was a little jiggly in the mentioned time so I had to bake it for an additional 15 mins.

Manjulaji, you are my very first YouTube teacher. I learnt how to make naan and samosa by watching you more than a decade ago.
So yemmi
This looks amazing!
Manjulaji, the milk had lumps. How do you get that to look like Rabdi?
I am going to make this today. Thank you.
I added 8 packs of stevia in 15 oz ricotta with cardamom. I used 3.5 cups milk and boiled until half, added saffron along with cardamom and at the end after boiling was done added 2 packs of stevia. I baked cheese at 350F for 22-25 min, covered with foil at around 10 min but removed after 5 min as water wasn't evaporating. I stopped baking when didn't see any water getting removed from cheese cake and cheese was no longer jiggly. I also soaked cheese cubes while still little warm in warm milk to allow better absorption of milk at RT. Then chilled in fridge, shared and relished π
There is no binding agent in the ricotta. There has to be some flour for it to become a cake. I think the recipe does not show some key ingredients. I tried baking it for > 1 hour and it turned out too small and had not risen at all.
Is milk hot when poured on the cake???
You are great
Tried and tested this recipe! Turned out very good! Try it you will not regret making it π
