Guess what? NO BANANAS WERE HARMED IN THIS RECIPE 😆
This double chocolate cake is simply delicious. I imagine this is what the Matilda chocolate cake tastes like, but MUCH more healthier and easier to make 😉
It’s also a great recipe for kids to get involved with, as you just need a bowl and a spoon to prep it.

INGREDIENTS
▪️2 cups plain flour
▪️1/4 cup cocoa powder
▪️1 tsp baking powder
▪️1 tsp bicarbonate of soda
▪️1/2 cup maple syrup
▪️3/4 cup yoghurt
▪️1/2 cup m*lk
▪️1/4 cup coconut oil
▪️1/2 cup chocolate chips
Topping: some melted chocolate and crushed pistachios (optional)
METHOD
▪️Preheat oven 180c
▪️In a large bowl, mix together the first 4 ingredients. Then add the rest and mix well.
▪️Pour batter into a prepared loaf tin
▪️Bake for 35-45 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean
▪️Once cooled, can top with some melted chocolate and crushed pistachios
