Par boil for 10 minutes then rinse clean. Also clean your pot!
– 6 green onion
– 1 cup sliced ginger

Parboil you bones then rinse clean. Clean you pot really well then Fill with fresh water. Add the bones back in and boil 8-10 hours checking the water and skimming an impurities that float to the top. Once it’s a beautiful thick white stock, add in your aromatics and maybe a little water and boil for another 2 hours. Strain

– 1.5 tbsp red miso
– 1.5 tbsp black sesame miso (whatever you have is fine)
– 2 tbsp bonito flakes

Wrap your pork belly as tight as possible. Tie with kitchen twine. Sear on both sides then add in your braising liquid. Once it simmers cover and let cook 2-3 hours flipping halfway through. Let cool in the braising liquid then wrap it in plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight. Slice into disks and torch

Eggs

– 1 cup soy sauce
– 1/4 cup sake
– 1/2 cup mirin

Boil eggs for like 6:20 then immediately put in ice water. Combine your marinade and let them marinate for 12 hours or so

Option aroma oil

I soaked the bamboo shoots in the chashu braising liquid for about an hour but that’s optional

  1. This is how I feel about Bleach. I only watched Naruto properly after I was an adult and it didn't have quite the same impact on me. But, that being said early Naruto is still really special. The chunin exams, man…

  2. Naruto hold more Nostalgic and sentimental value than real value. Terrible writing, weird redcons etc. Some things were good, them they repeated it so often that they became overused. It is the worst of the big 3 in every aspect. But it is still a cultural phenomenon

  3. Hard to say because I've been watching anime since like 7ish? My first anime was Sailor Moon. idk what channel was broadcasting that in the 90s but it was somehow on TV and I was hooked. I watched any other anime I could manage, even ones that where extremely inappropriate (Tenchi Muyo and it's subsequent spin-offs should NOT have been on Toonami when kids where home from school. Should've been on Adult Swim really but that was my favorite for years.

  4. I watched a bit of DBZ kai when it was on tv when I was real young, then in high school watched dragon ball and dbz start to finish but that was about it. In college, I watched Cowboy bebop from a friend's recommendation and Dragon ball super while it was airing the Tournament of Power. Then a couple years later my brother got me to watch Naruto, and a few years after that he did the same with One Piece and now I'm an anime lover. That Ramen looks great too btw. Teuchi would be proud!

  5. The first anime that got me into anime was Robotech, which was really a mishmash of a bunch of different Macross series (plus a series that wasn't Macross at all but some completely other thing). The transforming fighter jet thing was super cool at 12 years old. Then Dragon Ball Z aired and there was no going back. Then Gundam Wing aired and my transformation was complete.
