Here’s a simple recipe for Restaurant-Style Chicken Karahi:
*Ingredients:*
– 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast or thighs, cut into small pieces
– 2 medium tomatoes, chopped
– 2-3 green
Chillis , chopped
– 1 tsp cumin seeds
– 1 tsp coriander powder
– 1 tsp Kasoori Methi (Fenugreek Leaf)
– 1 tsp white & black pepper powder
– 1 tsp red chilli powder
– 1 tsp salt
– 2 tbsp vegetable oil
– 2 tbsp ginger paste
– 2 tbsp garlic paste
– Fresh cilantro, chopped (optional)
*Instructions:*
1. Heat oil in a large karahi or wok over medium heat.
2. Add chopped tomatoes and cook until they’re soft.
3. Add chicken and cook until it’s browned.
4. Add ginger paste, garlic paste, cumin powder, & Kasoori Methi (Fenugreek Leaf); coriander powder, garam masala powder, white pepper powder, black pepper powder, red chilli powder, and salt. Mix well.
5. Cook for 5-7 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through.
6. Add chopped green chillies. Mix well.
7. Garnish with chopped cilantro & ginger (if using).
8. Serve hot with naan, rice, or roti.
