I have a question. Beautiful steaks by the way. My question is what do you mean let your steaks rest? Thank you in advance.
I don't know if i must buy foodi pro or flex basket!
Great video, CJ! We are planning to buy a Ninja Pro XL and your videos help a lot. Cheers and greetings from Beer Sheva, Israel.
That’s a damn good-looking steak, bro. Just found your channel.
Thank you, CJ. I have followed your Flat Top videos. I'm from Yuma, AZ, and ready to continue my flat top grilling inside
Great video I love how you cook to temps
Nice video. Question:. When steaks are resting could you easily pop in the griddle and fry some eggs?
I'm a big fan of Boneless Ribeye Steak
How much smoke does this machine put out when cooking? Great video by btw!
Which one should I get? The the one with the probe or the one without the probe? And just use my own probe. I hear the one with the probe has some technical issues 😲. Would this be true?
I just got one of the new 7in1 grills and I've been watching all of your videos. They're really well done and I love your personality.
Great looking steaks! Question? Can you cook in the pan with the ninja grill/griddle like you can in all the other models?
Looking great! Do you see a difference in the quality of grill results between the the XL and the XL pro?
Did you dry-brine them beforehand? I thought I might have missed that part of the video… Thanks!
Is this grill smokeless ?…..
Hey CJ, have ever had an issue with the included ninja temperature probe reading "insert probe" despite the probe being in the meat and connected properly to the unit? I tried it with pork chops and it was showing that on and off repeatedly, The preheating would cut out intermittently as well when it would read "insert probe". However, when i took out the probe from the meat, it was preheating fine. thanks
Can't wait for my Ninja!!
Come on qvc!!
Funny the book that comes with the Foodi XLPro Grill/Griddle says to cook 14-16oz ribeyes for 20-25 min…. I listened to you instead and our steaks came out perfect! Happy carnivores here! Thanks CJ!
Can't wait to get mine. 🤩
I love watching your videos.
Do you ever use any olive oil with your steaks in the grill?
They look badass brother … waiting for ours and the Grill Grate to arrive
When I was looking into the Ninja Foodi smart grill on Black Friday, I was watching a lot of videos. I came across yours, saw a few videos and decided to buy it. I'll be honest, I can't cook for the life of me lol. So I wanted an easy way to start. I started by doing sous vide but I don't have a grill to sear my steaks. I'd use a cast iron pan. However, I wanted to not use a lot of oil and try to have a cleaner cooking job. I made a couple of filets and chicken breasts the last few days and they came out great. I'm going to sous vide my steaks next and sear with the Ninja Foodi. Can't wait for that! Thank you for the videos. It's helped me out and it's been giving me ideas. May I ask, what model of the Dalstrong knife knife do you use? I'm looking for a nice, sharp one to make the food presentation nice. Trying to hype myself after I make some awesome food lol. Awesome job, brother!
I have a hamilton beach searing grill that gets up to 450 degrees. so whats the difference between this and that and the hamilton beach searing grill made the meat too tender. i like my meat a bit firm and crusty, like how most bbq is. hamilton beach searing grill said that it gives bbq flavor, but its far from bbq flavor and texture. it gives butterfly pork chops a unique firm texture. its something that i want to use every once in a while. i use my george foreman grill more and my emeril air fryer, when cooking steak and pork. it actually does give it a smoky bbq flavor. i can taste the smoke flavor better when its cold, or with just a little sauce. its not as strong as bbq gas flavor. the bbq gas flavor is my favorite, as long as its not burned. then it tastes like chemicals and when you bbq eather with charcoal or a gas grill, it makes the food taste like gas a bit. i like that flavor. thats what makes bbq so special. its not sickening gas flavor. its not overwealming, unless you burn it. alot of indoor grills just doesnt compair to an outdoor bbq grill. just $19.99 for a charcoal grill at walmart and some charcoal, then you got it. i have the square shaped one. theres not as much space in the hood, as the round top ones, so i think that that gives it a more smokey gas flavor.
