Wrong doing at first.. must be high heat till the plate became red and put oil make the iron to black non stick and non rush.. Chinese knew how to do it.
It’s still ruined because the rust has caused major pitting in the steel so at this point everything you cook on it will stick and cause a huge mess and you food will look like you just ran it through the garbage disposal !
I thought that a black stone grill was made from actuall black stone and heated with propane ? Especially since they cost an arm and a leg ! And now you’re telling me it’s just a glorified frying pan made of tin? Wow, I’m glad I never bought one and I’ll keep useing my metal refrigerator shelf and the hole I dug so I can use charcoal or fire wood whatever is easier to get after diners made the shelf gets cleaned and reinstalled in the fridge and a board is placed over the hole so no one trips until breakfast ! A black stone grill that costs $1,200,00 and it rusts away in a year or two that’s for all you rich people , but for me I enjoy my hole covered with a stainless steel Frigidaire shelf and some coals in between , gotta cook eggs no problems just use the kitchen stove because eggs are eggs ! And grills are for millionaires and everyone has a refrigerator shelf already!
Good work! The thing is most people want a quick fix for the stuff they don’t take care of, his other videos shows how you maintain something like this, cause if you can afford to buy it you can maintain it 🙄

It's not cast iron it's rolled steel
Still having issues where no matter how well I season the grill. Whatever I cook takes the seasoning away with it. Doesn’t build layers at all.
Never had a griddle, but i watch all your vids..great content..keep up the great work .. big fan!
That was amazing great job sir, Let's Go Dodgers 🎉😢😮😅
I thought was a modern art painting at first.
Palm sander. 60/100/150 grits.
That is a f'd up grill. I'd toss it because the outside is ugly.
Those hot spots look as bad as their branding is good
Grill brick and oil would clean that in 10 min. No vinegar no degreaser.
Use a wire wheel and skip most of the soaking 😂
I use the wire brush drill bit from harbor freight to clean to bare metal in just a few minutes.
It’ll wrk but there was a better way to do this and not have those dark spots. But still top tier cause the other way is waaaaay more time consuming 😂
Use Good Old Fashioned Lard to season your griddle
It seems like this is a 3+ day process. I’d rather buy a new one. How did it get so filthy

And it’s not even made of stone like they advertise it is !

I could watch that all day.
Not worth the hassle
Yes we'll now I know that I don't really want one. I'll stick to the kettle pot

If you want it to go faster get a LODGE eraser for cast iron. Works fantastic. Whole griddle top scrubbed clean in 25 minutes
You really restored that blackstone
Yes sweet love my Blackstone 36 ❤👍
Looks incredible! God has blessed you with many talents.
