How the heck is fhat overnight oats. You cooked it TWICE. The whole point is that you can just dumo it together and eat it the next day, optionally warming it up. Why would you cook it twice of all things??? At that rate just make normal oatmeal on the spot
I do mine in my rice cooker in the morning. Same proportions, 3 to 1 with a pinch of salt. Takes about 45 minutes, so you need to start it soon after you get up.
I once made the mistake of toasting the oats in butter (my usual routine) before doing this. In the morning, there was a lovely green colony of bacteria on my oats. So only add the butter later.
Nothing about this is "overnight" aka easy oats. If I have to bring a pot of water to a boil then I'm just making regular oatmeal.

I will be using this. I'm a savory gal so I'll be topping mine with poached egg, chile crisp, scallions and maybe avocado.
Wow, that recipe saved my time from going toward something better!
I like overnight oats, but this honestly seems like way too much work, having to boil it the night before and in the morning.
If you can't do cheese; I love using it like I would rice (especially steel cut). Even works for juk/arroz cal do/congee.
overnight oats that you have to cook in the morning?
It might be tasty but definitely not healthy
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
You don’t cook oats with water, please use milk for richness and creaminess!
Savory oats🤯
Excellent..looks yummy
breville polysciance ?
If you have a rice cooker with a timer you can set it up ahead of time to be ready whenever you want. It’s very convenient!
Oh my breakfast!
You can just do overnight oats with yoghurt and milk, leave it overnight in the fridge and then just eat it.
Hardly overnight oats if you have to mess about preparing porridge how you normally would anyway, is it?

Homie just overcomplicated the eff out of overnight oats. Bro just let your oats sit in milk overnight, its really that simple.
Peas are a hard pass.

Where does it sit overnight? (Refrigerator or counter top)
Wait do you leave this on the counter or the fridge overnight?
I love savory oatmeal, been making it for years. Remember, it’s just a grain my dudes!
That's lunch man
Or make some grits. Nah fr, I hear that a lot of people like savory oats. Haven’t tried it yet, but I’m gonna. Promise.❤
Thou shall not boil oats before they have spent a night being hydrated. This allow the enzymes time to work and nutition is maximised.
Savory oats broke me. The world was never the same after I was eating mushrooms in oats
I love steel cut oats and have never tried a savory version. This looks great!
