Seafood Gumbo Recipe | #SoulFoodSunday – Here’s another drop for #SoulFoodSunday playlist. This is a delicious and easy to follow Seafood Gumbo Recipe. This Seafood Gumbo is full of shrimp, crab, and sausage and it has a nice smooth kick to it as well. Enjoy!

Seafood Gumbo Ingredients
2 – 3 lbs. Peeled and Deveined Shrimp (large)
1 – 2 lbs. Anduille Sausage
1 lb. Lump Crab Meat (optional)
2 lbs. King Crab Legs
1.5 lbs. Snow Crab Legs
2 (32 ounce) Chicken Broth
1/2 cup Vegetable or Canola Oil
1 cup All Purpose Flour
1/2 cup Butter (divided)
1 – 2 cups finely chopped Yellow Onion
1 cup finely chopped Green Pepper
1 cup finely chopped Celery
2 tbsp minced Garlic
1 tbsp Cajun or Creole Seasoning (Creole Kick)
1 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
1 12 oz. bottle of Beer
1 tsp dried Thyme
3 – 5 Bay Leafs
1/2 cup Green Onions (tops diced)
1-4 cup fresh Parsley

Serve with white rice.

  1. Thank you so much for sharing this recipe! I do have one problem: Where I live, in Copenhagen, I can't find any "gumbo file." Assuming that "the roux is the most important part of the gumbo", is it really essential to include the gumbo file? Thank you in advance for your time.

  2. 🤣😂🤣😂. Dude I don't care about some restaurants presentation 😛😛. I'm throwing everything I can in a big ass bowl 🍜 and going in. If there's other people to feed that's the only way I could think about "plates" and what they look like. If I made it for myself I would eat it straight from the pot. With the rice thrown in too.

  4. Born n raised in the deep south 👋🏽 and I'm just feelin like it needs some crawdads (or mudbugs or crawfish or crayfish.. whatever you call em!) But other than that this looks amazing. Maybe a couple dashes of hot sauce too 👍🏽

  5. Followed this step by step today and so far it's amazing. Decided to do sausage, shrimp, and chicken and it's still killa. I know it's gonna be even better later when all the flavors have marinated🤤
