maybe smallers sausages portions will make the browning easier, great recipe chef, thank you!
Hey Chef. Is there any way you can keep you voice at one speed when you narrate?
Lol wiener of Neptune 😂
I was wondering if you could freeze these for later and if would be better to freeze before you poached or after you poached. .
We should all worship at the church of Chef John.
Never thought you could sausage fish, but those don't look half bad!
"Weiner of Neptune" made me giggle for way longer than it should have! Really intriguing recipe, though, and something I look forward to trying.
Ordinary Sausage is a lot more fun when it comes to sausage vids; admittedly your puns/rhymes/Dad jokes are real good though.
How about Nemo’s torpedo for a name
Why not call it fish sausage?
Doesn't contain , Lips , Ears , Rectums , Appendixes or Anuses . 🤣. And DESPERATELY needs Smoked Herring/Kipper .
La Salsiccia di Nettuno. It does sound better in Italian. 🙂
Poseidon's weiner
This made me very sick 🙁 … but throwing it up made it better :).. thanks for hospital food recipe
It would be "la salsiccia di Nettuno". Looks delicious!!
Why did I keep expecting to hear " brown the outside, brown the outside…"?
Reminds me of a submarine movie, so, Welcome Aboard!!!
I don't know if anyone else has commented on this before, but I really appreciate the Lent friendly recipes being released around the start of Lent every year.
The Weiner of Neptune.
Fancy name without the blatant crudity: Neptune’s Trident (or Staff if you wish to split the difference)
If it needs more fat, why not add fat?
Everthing is fine with the recipe, except the first part of frying onions. If you fry onions in butter until they get golden, you get a toxic mix. Now, if you can eat that and have no burning sensation in the upper stomach after the meal, that's fine, but not all the people have the stomach of a pig.
Well, it's years too late, but how about calling it a "Submarine Sausage"?
so were in 2021 what's the new name u came up with
As always, Chef John never disappoints, but neither do the youtube closed captions: "Once those shallots did soften and Sweeden up…" These videos with closed captioning give me a double dose of silly giggles.
But will it blow?
