  1. I grew up in Seattle. When I moved to Madison Wisconsin in 2000, I discovered that there are zero teriyaki restaurants in this part of the world.
    Seattle has as many teriyaki places as there are Starbucks, possibly more!

    When I visit home every year, I try to make it a priority to have at least a couple times to eat at a different location every time.

    The best teriyaki sauce available at every grocery store, simply can’t be found in the Midwest!

  3. Thank you for this! As a PNW expat living in England for many years, I feel validated after banging on about Seattle teriyaki for ages! I make my own sauce (and garlic sauce and salad dressings!) . You just can't find those tastes anywhere else ❤❤❤
