Creamy and tasty mishti doi recipe
मलाईदार और स्वादिष्ट मिष्टी दही
Point to consider while setting pefect creamy mishti doi
1.use whole milk
2.when you add curd to milk it should be luke warm not cold or very hot.
3.use good quality starter/jaman do not use greek yogurt
4.use earthen post for better taste
(You can keep earthen pot filled with water one day prior to setting curd.)
5. Keep the curd in hot temperature for setting it could be a hot place in kitchen
Recipe
1.Boil milk – 1.5 liter
2.Add sugar granules 1cup Melt on low heat until brown
3.add 1 cup milk and keep stirring constantly until it is lump free,gradually add milk
4.Add milk powder (optional) and mix nicely there should be no lumps
5. Keep stirring until milk start reducing in quantity.
6. Then close flame and let milk cool down once it is luke warm add cardamom powder and (starter/ jaman /hung curd )
7. Pour it in a earthen pot and cover it properly keep the pot it hot temperature for 8-9 hours so that curd can be set. Now keep it in refrigerator and enjoy!
