When I see Cajun mirepoix I don't see veggies, I see flavor. The whole point. I use Cajun mirepoix in a lot of dishes. That recipe looks good. Too bad i moved to the Midwest. I miss fresh seafood.

Honestly it looks more like a seafood soup served on rice than a gumbo….. Rue too light, sausage added too late, definitely not thick enough.
