As the weather gets colder, it’s time to make some delicious soup to warm up our bodies. There is a Chinese saying that eat daikon (white radish) in the fall is better than eating Ginseng. That’s because daikon is nutritious and can help balance the QI in your body as the weather temperature go from warm to cold. You can also add some Goji berry (wolfberry) into the soup to help boost immune system.
俗话说“秋冬萝卜赛人参”,萝卜具有消积滞、化痰热、下气宽中,解毒等功效。现代研究也发现,萝卜中含有的多种微量元素可以增强机体免疫力。秋天吃萝卜,可以帮助身体适应从热到冷的气温。
