Slow Cooker Beef Pot Roast French Dip Sandwiches – French Dip Sandwiches Recipe



These beef pot roast french dip sandwiches are so delicious!! The beef roast is slow cooked, it’s so tender and flavorfully packed on buttered bread topped with cheese, with a side of Au Jus sauce for dipping.

INGREDIENTS
4 to 5 lbs chuck roast
Salt and black pepper
olive oil
1 whole onion, sliced
6 cloves of garlic, minced
2 cups beef broth
1/2 cup red wine
2 Tbs Worcestershire sauce
2 Tbs soy sauce
1 tsp dried thyme
1 tsp dried rosemary
1 tsp dried parsley
1 tsp dried oregano
1 tsp chilli powder
1/2 tsp cumin
1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
2 fresh bay leaves
6 hoagie rolls
melted butter for toasting
swiss cheese for topping

  1. I have been trying to find a french dip recipe video for pot roast sandwiches for a while, but everybody wants to do extracurricular crap that I can't follow. Your recipes have never let me down before. So I will definitely try this one as a house warming recipe when I finally move. Thank you once again, beloved.

    By the way…careful how you place the meat in that oil. You're supposed to put it down AWAY from you so the oil doesn't catch you. lol

  2. I don't eat much beef, but this is definitely a recipe I want to try. Easy way to shred cooked beef chicken or pork – used Kitchen Aid stand mixer. Shredding meat his way works really good I was told this by customer service department at KitchenAid.
