Good useful information. Thank you
CANT GO WRONG WITH THE KOSMOS period ! Going to use HOT DIRTY BIRD AND THE HONEY KILLER BEE Then coat with the APPLE CHERRY HABANERO
What ending temp are we looking for?
At the beginning i was like 3 hours i can do that today then by the end i was like ok more like 5 to 6 minus cutting the skin off which sucks maybe tomorrow ill try the apple cider and see if that gives it the extra because the last 2 sets i made seemed to be lacking
What height would you set these in a vertical series 5 pit boss?
Thanks for the explanation!!! Solid video
Thanks for sharing! 😄
I followed ur 270 defeees for only 3 hrs then wrapped for 2 and my ends were burnt crispy!! Where did I go wrong
Ordered my Pit Boss BBQ ( of course they are out of stock ) and as soon as it comes,…. BURNT ENDS for me ! and a few Slabs-O-Ribs….. have a great fourth !👍👍👍
Honey Killer Bee is my go to rub for just about everything. Family loves that stuff.
I did a shit job any ideas to keep temp down on an older model?
So many other BBQ channels just say to "go my feel" without showing what that means. I love how you get up close to the meat in the video to show exacltly what is supposed to be happening with the fat. Very helpful!!!
Love the apple cider vinegar! I feel like I’ve seen so many similar recipes to this and no one ever mentions balancing the flavor like that. 🙌
I made these on the weekend and they were fantastic. The apple cider vinegar may be the game changer. Thanks
Welp I already screwed up lol
My trick for the smoke tube: fill it up to 1 inch from the top. Add a piece of charcoal, break into smaller pieces of needed, light the charcoal. 10 minutes later add more pellets on top of the coals and put in the smoker. My tube never goes out.
After watching a dozen of these videos, this was the most detailed and thorough. Thank you going to try this for Memorial Day Weekend. 🔥
How absolutely necessary is the smoke tube for the cooking process, I just got myself a pit boss and am still pretty new to smoking / grilling in general and don’t have a smoke tube yet
A very delicious looking pork belly recipe will try it next weekend thank you it looked great 🙏
I've just found my last meal
Even though it was on a wired rack, do you think not having the bottom being bombarded with the sheep? It's slowing the cooking process? Idk just wondering.
Infomercial…
No sound
Best burnt end video. No one else has explained that you dont need to smother them in butter and sugar. Ive watched dozens of videos waiting for someone to leave them plain. Gonna try that soon.
Looks like it needs more time, the way you pulled at it.
I made these for the first yesterday on my Pit Boss, vertical, and they were absolutely delicious. My wife, son and brother-in-law, destroyed them, and now they want to always include these when I grill and smoke. Thanks for a great video.

Hello! I have watched so many of these pork belly burnt end videos from so many different pitmasters and my question is I see more videos where they cook 1.5-2hrs then wrap for 1 hr or so. Your cook time is twice that long. Just curious why there is so much variety in cook times? The one time I made these they were not as tender as I would have liked and I am guessing that I didn’t cook long enough particularly while in the pan.
real
When using the two gloves you use (Nitrile-Liberty Glove safety) do you buy a larger than normal
in the nitrile to fit over the cotton ones ?
Yum ym❤❤❤
Great Video!
So…at what internal temp are we done? Thanks in advance.
I used a Traeger rub and it was very salty
Too much ad time won't return
I would like to make this but Idont have a grill, is it possible if I make it in the oven or combi oven? if yes about the time and temperature are you suggestions?😅
I did my first today it seems ok the meat seems a bit dry or the fat isn't as rendered as I would thought 270 3 hours another 35 mind in sauce looks good I'm not sure should the meat pull apart like pulled pork or be a little hard like bacon?
Hi…I'm having a fairly large gathering at my house in a couple of weeks and was think of doing some of these pork belly burnt ends. Is this something that can be done a day or two in advance and then re-heated? And if so, how would you store and re-heat them? Thanks
Your videos are so helpful! I am a new pitboss owner and was feeling overwhelmed on how to clean and use it. I just watched your videos on how to clean it and deep clean it. The bbq scrub daddy is my next purchase lol. Thanks for the great info!
I just got a PitBoss Navigator 550 Pellet grill. The temp dial only allows me to control temp in about 50 degree increments. would you suggest a low (250) or high (300) temperature for this cook if I cannot get to 275 exactly?
These look fantastic!
What kind of cloth gloves are you using ? Do you have a link to them?
That looks great! What is interesting is that you are the only other person i have heard of that opens the chimney when using a smoke tube. Nice cook!
just got a used pit boss 1100ps1, I am not getting the smoke like you do, is it the pellets i have ( pit boss hickory). Also my tempenture rise and fall by at less by 30 degrees, is that the controller
So how long was your total cook time?
Looks good. I may have to try this. I've tried Blues Hogg rub. The sauce sounds great, too.
